Understanding Organizations

A Vectorize organization allows one or more users to manage RAG pipelines, RAG evaluations, billing, and track usage.

Organization Membership

• When a user signs up for Vectorize, an organization is automatically created for them.

• All users within an organization share the same administrative privileges.

• A user of an organization may invite others to join.

• A user can belong to multiple organizations. Each organization maintains its own resources and billing information.

• A user may upgrade or downgrade the organization's plan at any time. See Managing Organization Plans for more information.

Organization Capabilities

The plan an organization is in (Free, Starter, Pro, or Enterprise) determines its capabilities, such as the number of pipeline hours, retrieval calls, and available source connectors.

All organizations start off on the Free plan.

Billing and Usage

Billing is done based on your organization's usage. This provides the flexibility and transparency you need to optimize costs and scale your RAG pipeline operations.
